Important Update
Face of Man has been temporarily located on Level 14 of the Apple Building, and due to unforeseen circumstances, has temporarily closed while we await the completion of our new location.
Our first dream was to go into Level 1/77 King however, as with any ambitious project, there can be crazy, unexpected challenges. We experienced plumbing and structural issues, and while it looked incredible in on paper, it was not to be despite all our best efforts.
Staying on Level 1 did not work out as planned despite our best efforts. Instead of staying on Level 14, 77 King Street and compromising the exceptional experience we aim to deliver, we made the decision to relocate to a more suitable space.
Our dedicated team has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to make this transition seamless.
We understand the importance of ensuring that Face of Man maintains the high standards you have come to expect from us, and we are excited to share our progress with you.
New Location
Our new address is Level 2/131 York St, directly behind the QVB and above Abbeys’ Bookshop, a well-known establishment in the city’s heart.
This is a space that embodies our brand and has been meticulously tailored to provide you with the utmost comfort and satisfaction. We are confident that this new home will be the perfect backdrop for the Face of Man experience, and we can’t wait to welcome you there.
Appointments
We understand that some of you have had appointments scheduled between October 13th and 20th, and we want to assure you that our team will personally reach out to you to reschedule your appointments, and you will be given priority for the inconvenience. With the social season fast approaching, we kindly remind everyone to jump online or call the Salon from the 13th of November to book your appointments, as we will book out very, very quickly.
Our phones will be switched on starting the week of November 13th, from 9.00 AM to 5.30 PM.

During the week of the 13th, Ivy and Grace will be onsite and ready to accommodate. We will ensure everyone is looked after. I will be going above and beyond to make this up to you including exciting ‘thankyou’ surprises.
From the depth of my heart, I would like to thank everybody for your kindness and understanding throughout this time. Starting with Covid, then being acquired by Sydney Metro, and ending with construction challenges – if it weren’t for my beautiful clients and supportive team, I am not sure we would have made it.
Cut, Shave or Shoe Shine?
That said, I’m so excited about what we have been able to build for our gentlemen. We are thrilled to share that we now have a fantastic Barber joining our Face of Man family, Shafeel. Some of you might already know him from Chifley Barbers from Chifley Tower. He is one of the most talented Barbers in Sydney offering everything from cuts to hot towel shaves, shoe shines all served with our traditional side of scotch. We cannot wait to introduce you.
