No pain, no gain…not quite!

Needling the skin doesn’t necessarily mean pain. The Dermapen 3 never involves heat or thermal energy, and does not use harsh chemicals or cause unnecessary trauma, so the skin heals quickly.

For minimum needle depths Dermapen Treatments are painless however for treatments over 0.5mm deep, a topical anaesthetic cream may be applied 15-40 minutes before the procedure to render the treatments virtually pain free. And while there is generally no downtime, you may experience facial redness for 12-48 hours after the treatment with most clients able to return to normal daily activities immediately after the treatment.

A commitment to great skin

Great skin needs a regular routine and commitment to a treatment plan personally prescribed by your skin therapist. Typically, you’ll see results after the first Dermapen Treatment however for lasting and more significant results we recommend a series of 4 to 6 treatments, 4 weeks apart for skin rejuvenation and 6 treatments, 6 weeks apart for acne scarring.

Your skin will continue to improve over the next 6 to 12 months after a course of treatments especially when combined with recommended post-treatment care.
